Loreto is a district on the northern outskirts of Milan in constant growth and ferment, to the point of having been chosen as a residence for gallery owners, creatives and artists. This new population renamed it NOLO, north of Loreto, to symbolize an international and modern spirit. A few subway stops from the center, this neighborhood is enriched by a marked melting pot, and it is precisely in via Accademia 56, in the heart of this multi-ethnic atmosphere that the Greek restaurant Akropolis was born.

A simple but elegant location

As soon as you cross the threshold of this welcoming restaurant, it seems as if you have landed in an Athens tavern or in an inn on some Cycladic island. The Akropolis has two rooms, the most characteristic is certainly that of the basement, furnished in a simple but elegant way, with brick walls and tablecloths in the colors of the Greek flag. To welcome the customer and immerse him in a warm and refined atmosphere, in addition to the smiles of a very cordial staff, we take care of some innovative and refined works of art by emerging and non-emerging artists.
Greece just a few steps from home

The Akropolis restaurant is certainly one of the best in Milan as far as Greek cuisine is concerned, this is also thanks to the choice of raw materials of the highest quality and a young and capable chef, as well as being very attentive. In this small corner of Greece it is possible to taste both some of the characteristic delicacies of Hellenic cuisine, such as, for example, moussaka, a kind of aubergine lasagna, and some less popular but equally good dishes. The culinary choice is wide and varied and promises to satisfy all types of palates, offering fish or meat dishes, but also salads and succulent desserts based on the typical Greek yoghurt. To wash down this riot of flavors, the restaurant has an extensive wine list, from which you can order, for example a Retzina or a white Cretan wine, and spirits made in Greece, such as ouzo, the famous anise.
